Destination Berlin

The production marathon started during my residency in Linz, at the cassette culture node.Linz exhibition, organised and narrated by Wolfgang Dorninger. I produced the new versions of the Berlin Tape Run. Paris Tape Run, June Crawford’s tape and Dear Concerned Employees followed.

At this moment I’m in the middle of the production process of K A N T O O R, the first issue of a tape and zine with found sounds, compiled by found sounds collectors.  The release is a collaboration with Petrichor, a small independent publishing house in Deventer, in the east of the Netherlands. We aim to have the first copies available at the beginning of February.

Meanwhile in Berlin, the staaltape releases in the staalplaat store slowly start to grow in numbers. If you are on a visit, or living in the fair city of Berlin, just walk in every now and then, marvel at all the zines, posters, albums, books and tapes on display, and see if there’s something you would like to take home or give to a friend.
